Ervin Jordan, author of Black Confederates and Afro-Yankees in Civil War Virginia talked about the controversies over the monument in Charlottesville, Virginia, of Confederate General Robert E. Lee.

Lee: America’s Most Honored Traitor” was part of the American Civil War Museum’s 2017 annual symposium, “Lightning Rods of Controversy: Civil War Monuments Past, Present, and Future.” It was co-sponsored by the John L.
