Senator Christopher Coons (D-DE) spoke to reporters following his meeting with U.S. Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch. He said it was a constructive meeting but that he was troubled by a number of decisions that Judge Gorsuch had rendered. In addition, Senator Coons said he raised his strong concerns about judicial independence and urged Judge Gorsuch to address this in his confirmation hearing. close
