Members of civil rights organizations participated in a news conference following a three hour workshop to develop an agenda for the upcoming 30th anniversary march on Washington. The event, occurring in the fall of 1993, will commemorate the 1963 march on Washington, DC, led by Reverend Martin Luther King. Rev. King delivered his famous “I Have a Dream” speech at a rally after the march in 1963. The news conference took place at the National Education Association. close
