British Prime Minister Theresa May and other Members of Parliament offered statements in the House of Commons following a terrorist attack in London that left 4 dead and 40 injured. Police Constable Keith Palmer was killed in the attacks as well as one American tourist. Among those injured was another American and multiple people of other nationalities including three French school children. Prime Minister May and others commended the efforts of Constable Palmer and other officers as well as staff of the National Health Service. The prime minister also condemned the spread of hate and the views of the attacker while stating democracy and openness would prevail. close
