Writer, Sailor, Solider, Spy Nicholas Reynolds talked about his book Writer, Sailor, Soldier, Spy: Ernest Hemingway’s Secret Adventures, 1935-1961 , in which he recalls novelist Ernest Hemingway’s connections to the Soviet NKVD, precursor to the KGB, and the U.S. OSS, predecessor of the CIA.
