Professor John Pfaff talked about his book Locked In: The True Causes of Mass Incarceration-and How to Achieve Real Reform, in which he examines the impact of criminal justice reforms on prisons and mass incarceration. In his book, Professor Pfaff argues that reforms should include placing more emphasis on regulating prosecutors, rethinking incarceration for violent crime offenders, and examining why some people become violent as part of the solution to reducing the prison population. close
