Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) talked about the nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch to replace Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court. He laid out his reasons for opposing the nominee and talked a bit about the upcoming “Nuclear Option” threatened by the Republicans, positing that instead of Senate procedures needing to be changed, perhaps the nominee should be changed. He started his comments by paying tribute to those killed in St. Petersburg, Russia, in an explosion earlier that day. close
