State of the Affordable Care Act Danielle Kurtzleben talked about her NPR piece on the state of the Affordable Care Act. Following the failure of Republicans to vote on their health care law replacement law, President Trump and other Republicans characterized the ACA as on the verge of collapsing. Ms. Kurtleben among her comments said the heath care exchanges are stable. She also said that one of the problems with the law is rate hikes in areas that have only one exchange insurer to pick from.
