Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair General Joseph Dunford gave a commencement address at his alma mater of St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont. He talked about some of the people he considers extraordinary leaders in U.S. history and urged graduates to live by their examples, including being a “leader of consequence.” General Dunford is a former Marine Corps commandant and was the commander of the U.S.-led NATO coalition in Afghanistan. close
