Homeland Security Threats Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly delivered remarks at George Washington University on security threats. He outlined the top priorities of his agency including transnational organized crime, border security, homegrown terrorism and cybersecurity. Secretary Kelly defended the employees at DHS saying lawmakers who don’t like the Trump administration’s approach to immigration enforcement should change the laws or “shut up.” In addition, he clarified his position on marijuana calling it a “potentially dangerous gateway drug” and said DHS will continue to investigate its illegal pathways and distribution in the U.S. close
