Sean Spicer briefed reporters and responded to questions on a variety of topics. He called the Georgia special congressional election a loss for Democrats. Spicer was referring to the election for the Georgia 6th Congressional District where Democrat Jon Ossoff fell short of the 50 percent needed to avoid a runoff. The race was to fill the seat held by now Health and Human Secretary Tom Price.

Other topics included reviewing the Iran nuclear deal, North Korea, and the deportation of undocumented immigrant Juan Manuel Montes, the first “Dreamer” to be deported. close
