The “People’s Climate March” and rally were held in the Washington, D.C. to bring awareness to the issue of climate change. The march was one of many that were held around the nation to coincide with President Trump’s 100th day in office and to protest his environmental policies. It was organized by dozens of groups as part of a coalition called the “People’s Climate Movement.” Speakers included grassroots activists and representatives from groups including the Sierra Club, the Maryland League of Conservation Voters, and the Movement for Black Lives. close
