President Trump Remarks in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania President Trump held a rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to mark his 100th day in office. He talked about many issues he has handled his since Inauguration Day and the campaign promises he vows to keep in areas that include immigration, health care, border security, trade, and foreign policy. In his comments, he also criticized the media for its coverage of his administration. He was introduced by Vice President Pence.
The event took place on the same evening as the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner, which the president skipped, the first time a president had not spoken at the event since President Carter in 1980. President Reagan did not attend in 1981 because he was recovering from being shot in an assassination attempt. close
