A bipartisan task force of the House Homeland Security Committee met to examine visa security procedures and ways to prevent terrorist entry into the U.S. Members focused on the Visa Waiver Program that allows citizens of 38 countries to come to the U.S. for visits of up to 90 days without having to obtain a visa. Witnesses included federal agency officials from Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Departments of State. close
