Sean Spicer briefed reporters and responded to questions on a range of issues. He said the search for a new FBI director was moving ahead “as it should” and that there was no need for a special prosecutor. Homeland Security adviser Tom Bossert began the briefing with an update on the “Ransomware” virus. Mr. Bossert said the malware had infected 300,000 computers in 150 countries but had yet to affect U.S. government systems. close
