Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross discussed the administration’s position on the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) at an event hosted by the Bipartisan Policy Center in Washington, DC. He outlined some of the challenges of the agreement and announced that August 16, 2017 would be the date when the re-negotiation process would begin. Prior to his remarks, leaders from the agriculture and energy sectors discussed how NAFTA impacts their respective industries. close
