Witnesses including former Senator Elizabeth Dole who talked about the work of her foundation that advocates for those who care for wounded veterans, along with actor and director Ryan Phillippe, an ambassador for the foundation’s initiative called Hidden Heroes. They were joined by women and the husbands they care for who shared their stories of the struggles they face. close
