Sean Spicer briefed reporters and answered their questions on several news issues of the day. Topics included the ongoing work by Senate Republicans on their version of an Affordable Care Act replacement bill, reports that Mr. Spicer might be leaving his role as press secretary, the special election in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District, and an expected announcement from President Trump on whether tapes exist of Oval Office conversations.
