Question Time British Prime Minister Theresa May answered questions from members of the House of Commons for the first time since the June 8th general election. Most of the session focused on the investigations surrounding the Grenfell Tower fire in West London that claimed the lives of more than 75 people and injured close to 70. The prime minister confirmed that 120 buildings, from 37 council areas, had failed recent fire safety inspections and that nearly 65 offers of temporary housing accommodations had been made to the families left without a home. Later, Prime Minister May answered questions on the U.K.'s future trading relationship with the European Union and the government’s priorities regaring issuing foreign aid. close
