Then, Governor Terry McAuliffe, the outgoing NGA chair, made remarks and introduced the incoming chair, Governor Brian Sandoval (R-NV). Rather than Governor McAuliffe passing the gavel to Governor Sandoval, by hand, the gavel was delivered to the new chair by drone.
