Air Force General Paul Selva testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee on his reappointment to be vice chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He was originally appointed by President Obama in 2015 and was nominated by President Trump to another two-year term. Topics addressed included Russian intervention in Ukraine, North Korea, defense innovation, cybersecurity and military readiness. On cybersecurity, General Selva said his personal data was targeted along with other military officials in the recent Office of Personnel Management data breach. close
