Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein were asked today to respond to the president’s comments about them in an interview with the New York Times. The president told the newspaper that he would not have hired Mr. Sessions if he had known he would have recused himself from the Russia investigations. Also, in the interview, the president expressed discontent Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. Attorney General Sessions said he planned to continue serving in his job. close
