Telephone lines were open for viewer calls and social media comments on the question “Do you plan to watch the total solar eclipse today?” NASA research scientist Shawn Domagal-Goldman spoke about the event, and Representative James Comer (R-KY) also spoke by phone about his plans for watching the eclipse as well as those of the city of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, which is in the path of totality. This program took place at the visitor’s center in NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. close
