The U.N. Security Council met to issue an official condemnation of North Korea’s launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile that crossed over Japanese territory. The council’s president delivered the group’s official message, warning the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to cease its missile launches. Afterward, the U.S., Chinese, and Russian ambassadors to the U.N. criticized the regime as well.
