At a briefing with reporters, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders answered questions on President Trump’s decision to rescind the Obama administration’s Deferred Action Childhood Arrival (DACA) program that deferred the deportation of some immigrants who came to the United States illegally as children. The Trump administration urged Congress to replace the program before it fully expires on March 5, 2018. Ms. Sanders told reporters that if Congress were unable to pass a replacement, “...then they should get out of the way and let somebody else take their job that can actually get something done.” She also took questions on North Korea and tax reform. close
