President Trump and the Emir of Kuwait held a joint news conference at the White House. Many of the questions focused on a dispute between Qatar and four Gulf countries, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Egypt, over financial support from Qatar to Iran. The president offered to personally mediate a diplomatic resolution. On North Korea, President Trump said military action against North Korea was not necessarily inevitable but that it was certainly an option. close
