Senate Democratic leaders spoke to reporters following their weekly caucus lunch. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) harshly criticized the Senate Republican health care proposal, authored by Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Bill Cassidy (R-LA), saying it would cause millions of people to lose health coverage. In addition, Senator Schumer displayed a letter written by a bipartisan group of governors voicing their opposition to the proposal. close
