Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi delivered remarks at the general debate of the opening session of the 72nd United Nations General Assembly. He targeted his remarks toward the Palestinian people, saying he wanted them to “be ready to accept co-existence with the other, with Israelis in safety and security.” His remarks came just hours after he met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who also addressed the General Assembly on its first day of general debate. close
