The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation hosted a civil rights town hall as part of its 47th annual legislative conference. Several Congressional Black Caucus members spoke, including Representatives John Lewis (D-GA) and Maxine Waters (D-CA), as did leaders and officials representing civil rights-related organizations. A broad range of issues were discussed, including voting rights, criminal justice reform, civic engagement and political activism. close
