U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley spoke to reporters at a press conference on the sidelines of the 72nd U.N. General Assembly in New York City. She responded to questions about President Trump’s speech before the assembly, particularly his comments on North Korea and Iran. Ambassador Haley said the U.S. would still pursue diplomatic options in trying to persuade North Korea to abandon its nuclear development program, and said President Trump’s denouncing of the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran was viewed by other world leaders as a show of strength. close
