Senate Majority Leader McConnell (R-KY) and Minority Leader Schumer (D-NY) commented on President Trump’s visit to Puerto Rico nearly two weeks after the island was hit by Hurricane Maria. Senator McConnell talked about disaster aid needed also in Texas and Florida causing challenges for FEMA. Senator Schumer (D-NY) said he was glad the President was going, but he needed to “make up” for slow response in Puerto Rico. close
