Opioid Law Enforcement Action The Justice Department announced the indictments of two Chinese nationals on allegations of conspiracy to traffic fentanyl and other synthetic opioids. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein told reporters the suspects used the internet to sell fentanyl to traffickers and other individual customers. He was joined by other law enforcement officials including Acting DEA Administrator Robert Patterson who commented on the “60 Minutes” and Washington Post joint investigation that alleged his agency was hampered by congressional legislation to combat the opioid epidemic. close
