They also considered an amendment from Representative Bill Pascrell (D-NJ), which proposed restoring the state and local tax deductions in the legislation which, as written, would repeal those provisions. The House Ways and Means Committee met for the second day of an anticipated four-day markup of the House Republican tax reform bill.
