The LBJ Tapes: January 1964 President Lyndon Johnson talked with advisors about the Civil Rights and tax bills, a controversial judicial appointment, the Federal budget and leaks to the press. President Johnson complained to the head of the Secret Service about agents' behavior. President Johnson also made a birthday call to Pulitzer Prize winning poet and author Carl Sandburg.
