The Arab Center of Washington, D.C. hosted a discussion on the future of Saudi Arabia’s leadership following Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s ordering of the arrest and detention of at least 200 mid and lower-level leaders in the capital of Riyadh. The panelists, which included a journalist who has been banned by the prince from tweeting and making Saudi media appearances, discussed Prince Salman’s goals to moderate the Saudi government in an effort to gain support of younger citizens and the methods he has employed. close
