At the daily White House briefing Press Secretary Sarah Sanders disputed criticism that President Trump had not responded publicly to sexual assault allegations against Alabama U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore yet had sexual harassment charges against Senator Al Franken (D-MN). She told reporters the president had already said the allegations against Mr. Moore were very disturbing. She added that sexual assault and harassment was something the White House takes seriously. Other topics included congressional Republican tax reform efforts and disaster funding for areas hit hard by hurricanes. close
