British Home Secretary Amber Rudd delivered a statement on President Trump’s retweets of a far-right group, Britain First, and the government’s efforts to combat online anti-Muslim hate speech. Several members raised their concerns about President Trump and questioned Prime Minister Theresa May’s decision to invite the president for a state visit to the United Kingdom. A date has not been set for the state visit. Secretary Rudd said it was wrong for President Trump to retweet the videos, but urged members to see the importance of the U.S.-U.K. relationship. close
