Libertarian Presidential Candidate Ron Paul protested his exclusion from the presidential debate between George H.W. Bush and Michael Dukakis. The Libertarian Party purchased 30 minutes of satellite transponder time to broadcast their own debate from Hollywood, California. This gave their candidate the opportunity to respond to the same questions that were asked of the Democratic and Republican nominees during the debate. close
