The Democratic National Committee’s Unity Reform Commission held its final meetings on December 8-9, 2017. The 21-member panel was created to recommend changes to the party’s presidential nomination process after calls to make the system more fair. Members debated issues involving un-pledged delegates, same-day voter registration, and rule changes for states that hold both primaries and caucuses. The proposed recommendations by the commission will be voted on the full committee.
