The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars hosted a panel discussion on the implications of the United Kingdom’s June 2016 vote to leave the European Union, also known as “Brexit.” Panelists discussed the results of a study conducted by the RAND corporation on the economic, political, and security implications for Britain, the E.U., and the U.S. The U.K. was to exit the European Union in March 2019. close
