In 1967, Philco-Ford Corporation marked its 75th anniversary by producing this film titled 1999 A.D. The appliance and radio manufacturer looked ahead to the turn of the 21st century to imagine what life would be like for a family in a home maintained by a central computer and powered by fuel cells. The National Film Preservation Foundation and Library of Congress made this film available. close
