Last night, the House rejected an amendment which would have killed $2.1 billion for the program and voted in favor of continued funding for the space station by a vote of 220 to 196. Representative Bacchus voted against the amendment, which Representative Zimmer had introduced. Representative Bacchus also is a member of the Banking, Finance and Urban Affairs Committee. Representative Zimmer is also a member of the Government Operations Committee.
