At a news conference at Camp David while meeting with congressional Republicans about their 2018 legislative agenda, President Trump was asked about several issues, including North Korea. He said he would “absolutely” engage in talks with the country’s leader, Kim Jong-un. On other topics, he said he hopes to work out an agreement with Democrats concerning immigration and the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. He also commented on the Russian investigation and denied a report that he asked a White House attorney to stop Attorney General Jeff Sessions from recusing himself from the Justice Department’s investigation and reiterated that there was “no collusion” between his presidential campaign and the Russian government. He also criticized author Michael Wolff on his new book about the Trump White House calling it a “work of fiction.” close
