FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel (D) was one of the keynote speakers at the annual “State of the Net” conference. Ms. Rosenworcel spoke about problems with identity theft and the millions of fake emails found in the agency’s public comments section during the agency’s debate on and repeal of Obama administration net neutrality rules that regulated the internet like a public utility and prohibited internet service providers from blocking or charging websites for higher quality delivery to consumers.
