Telephone lines and social media were open for comments on the question, “Do you trust the FBI and the Department of Justice?” The question was drawn from a Washington Post story on the Trump administration’s release of a secret memo written by House Intelligence Committee Republican aides on the FBI’s investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Jeff Mason, Reuters White House correspondent, spoke by phone about the week ahead at the White House. Topics included the House Intelligence Committee memo, President Trump’s February 5 speech in Cincinnati, and Vice President’s trip to the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in South Korea. close
