Michael Alexander Kahn, co-author of What Fools These Mortals Be! The Story of Puck, discussed a selection of political cartoons about the U.S. presidency. Published between 1876 and 1918, Puck was one of the most widely read and influential satire magazines of the period, with full-page, color cartoons. Mr. Kahn argued that many of these cartoons focused on issues that are still in the news today. close
