The House debated the rule for three bills: H.R. 772, on nutritional labeling; H.R. 1153, the Mortgage Choice Act; and H.R. 4771, regarding small banking regulations. The rule also allows the House to consider a continuing resolution to keep the government open until March 23. Members then debated H.R. 772. Lawmakers also passed a bill that would change the way sexual harassment cases are handled in Congress, an update to the 1995 Congressional Accountability Act. The bill would make any member of Congress accused of sexual harassment personally responsible for any settlement costs. close
