Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf (D) delivered his annual budget address at the state capitol in Harrisburg. He presented a $32.9 billion budget for fiscal year 2019 and urged the legislature to pass a severance tax on the state’s natural gas industry. In addition, he outlined his legislative priorities for the session which include education investment, workforce development, and combating the opioid crisis. At the start of the address, Governor Wolf congratulated the Philadelphia Eagles for winning their first Super Bowl. close
