The Brookings Institution hosted a discussion on the Trump administration’s 2018 nuclear posture review. The event featured keynote remarks by Deputy Defense Under Secretary for Policy David Trachtenberg followed by a panel discussion with nuclear security experts and former government officials.

The nuclear posture review is a periodic Defense Department report mandated by Congress which aims to describe the role of nuclear weapons in U.S. national security policy. close
