Veterans Affairs Secretary Dr. David Shulkin delivered keynote remarks at the annual winter meeting of the nation’s governors in Washington, DC. He discussed the key priorities of his agency which include providing greater health care choice for veterans, modernizing VA systems, ensuring efficiency of resources, improving timeliness of care and suicide prevention. After his remarks, Secretary Shulkin answered questions by governors in attendance. The session was led by Gov. Mark Dayton (D-MN) and Gov. Mary Fallin (R-OK). close
